One of my favorite hobbies is making music with the Super NES's sound chip!
To teach myself the ins and outs of sound programming, I've mostly done covers over the years.
Here are some of my favorites!
An ongoing project for me has been arranging Keiichi Suzuki and Hirokazu Tanaka's 8-bit score for EarthBound Beginnings in the style of its 16-bit sequel, EarthBound!
Other folks who contribute to this project include Pinci and BlueStone.
Not all of the songs are done yet, but eventually I'm going to release all of it as a big collaborative album!
Here's most of the arrangements we've done so far, including a few early demos.

In 2014, to teach myself OpenMPT, I started looking at CaveStory.org's XM soundtrack dumps.
Eventually I found myself making SNES arrangements of the entire soundtrack!
Here's the entire thing as a free Bandcamp album!
NOTE: I'm probably going to revisit this in the future! I would make different instrument choices today than I did six years ago xD
